Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's optimal appearance and delivering exceptional customer service. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and cleaning, you will be a key contributor to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow all company policies ensuring document security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe operation of equipment and adherence to cleaning standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented, follows instructions, and multitasks effectively
- Ability to meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
