Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security
- Perform other assigned duties effectively
Physical Demands
- Stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and navigate the store environment
- Engage in various physical activities to fulfill job responsibilities
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate a cash register accurately
- Safely use equipment including electric/manual hand jack and floor scrubber
- Interpret and apply company policies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Work well independently and in a team
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
