Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to effectively manage store operations. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing, and developing operational strategies while mentoring your team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day store operations to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Communicate and uphold company values to foster a cohesive team environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain store presentation and product quality.
- Participate in the hiring process and manage staffing schedules.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations for team members.
- Manage store budget and implement loss prevention measures.
- Recommend product additions or discontinuations based on customer feedback.
- Ensure a safe and organized store environment for all stakeholders.
- Conduct inventory checks and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years for employment at Aldi.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying operational guidelines.
- Experience in managing expenses, personnel costs, and budgets.
- Capability to operate a cash register and store equipment efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3+ years of retail experience with management exposure.
