Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers, operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing excellent service.

Position Type

• Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leaders.
• Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Perform cashier or stocker responsibilities as assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases and provide exceptional customer service.
• Stock shelves neatly and monitor inventory accurately.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock shelves properly and maintain merchandised displays.
• Organize inventory and operate machinery safely.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Interpret and apply company policies.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Time management and product knowledge.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
