Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, product stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team and ensure customer satisfaction through your service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Follow company policies while ensuring document security and data confidentiality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform various physical tasks
- Regularly stand, sit, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Customer service and cash handling skills
- Ability to operate equipment and follow company procedures
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Retail experience preferred
