Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Store Associate and contribute to creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store, all while providing top-notch customer service.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company policies and uphold security and confidentiality standards
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Handle equipment safely and perform general cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- A combination of education and experience
