Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Operations Assistant. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the store's operations, from merchandising and stocking products to providing top-notch customer service. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will ensure that the store delivers an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Assist in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
  • Follow company procedures with a focus on security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of maintaining cleanliness and following company policies.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Flexible to work independently or as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
