Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Store Operations Assistant. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the store's operations, from merchandising and stocking products to providing top-notch customer service. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will ensure that the store delivers an exceptional shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Assist in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
- Follow company procedures with a focus on security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness and following company policies.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Flexible to work independently or as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
