Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the store operates smoothly by handling merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. By working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will contribute to providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and maintain professionalism in all duties.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting and supporting shoppers during their visit.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and provide feedback to store management.
  • Participate in inventory management procedures and adhere to cash handling policies.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Customer service-oriented and proficient in cash register operations.
  • Capable of operating equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company guidelines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team setting.
  • High school diploma preferred; retail experience is a plus.
