Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Contribute to inventory management and store operational tasks
- Adhere to company policies and security measures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work well independently and in a team environment
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
