Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth in-store experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide exceptional customer service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Feedback on products, inventory, and issues
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Comply with company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Good customer service and cash handling skills
- Operate equipment as required
- Ability to follow policies, communicate well, and work in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
