Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized and provides exceptional customer service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and restock shelves.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• 18 years or older.
• Proficient in customer service and cashiering.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow company policies and procedures diligently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Work independently and within a team effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
