Job Description
We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store is well merchandised, stocked, and maintained to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (MAP).
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Follow company policies while ensuring document security and data confidentiality.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning tasks according to standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations related to alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
