Dispatcher

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Dispatcher to join our team at RICH TRANSPORT LLC. As part of our Dispatch department, you will be responsible for handling dispatch calls, managing driver assignments, and ensuring timely deliveries of our loads. This role reports to the Operations Manager and requires strong communication and organizational skills to excel.

Responsibilities

• Enter Bill of Lading information, ETAs, PTAs, and Trailer numbers accurately and timely.
• Communicate delays promptly to relevant departments and personnel.
• Monitor driver activities and ensure expected mileages are met.
• Collaborate with driver managers and dispatchers as needed.
• Keep accurate records of company truck mileages and driver hours.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in all interactions.

Requirements

• Ability to work under pressure and maintain effective communication with team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with McLeod database and Manifest building preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
