Electrical Engineer III

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer III to join Toyo Tires NA at our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in White, Georgia. As an Electrical Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing, testing, installing, and maintaining large-scale electronic equipment or machinery. You will apply your expertise in electrical engineering to drive innovation and ensure the efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, test, install, and maintain electronic equipment for manufacturing or power generation.
• Use computer-assisted engineering design software to perform assignments.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineers to ensure equipment and systems are process capable.
• Research and analyze data to determine the feasibility of design applications.
• Plan and direct engineering personnel in the fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment.
• Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair activities to optimize machine utilization.

Technical Skills Required:

• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Design or modify electrical controls to improve machinery reliability and productivity.
• Competent in programming and troubleshooting controls, preferably Mitsubishi PLC’s.
• Perform calibration of electrical systems and components.
• Read, interpret, troubleshoot, and modify complex PLC and Servo programs.
