Responsibilities
- Design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment for manufacturing or power generation.
- Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish project goals.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and other engineers on the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Research and analyze data to determine feasibility of design applications.
- Direct engineering personnel in test control apparatus fabrication and equipment testing procedures.
- Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair activities to optimize equipment utilization.
Technical Skills Required
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Design or modify electrical controls and systems for manufacturing machinery.
- Competent in programming and troubleshooting motion controllers.
- Perform calibration of electrical systems and components.
- Read, interpret, troubleshoot, and modify complex PLC and Servo programs.
- Interface effectively with vendors and contractors.
