Electrical Engineer III

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer III to join the innovative team at Toyo Tires NA. As part of a global tire manufacturing leader, you will have the opportunity to design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment or machinery, contributing to our commitment to quality and performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, test, and maintain electronic equipment for manufacturing or power applications.
• Utilize computer-assisted engineering design software.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure equipment efficiency and feasibility.
• Plan and direct engineering personnel in testing methods.

Technical Skills Required

• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Design and modify electrical controls for improved productivity.
• Proficient in programming and troubleshooting motion controllers.
• Calibrate electrical systems and components.
• Read, interpret, and modify complex PLC and Servo programs.

Requirements

• Ability to manage projects from concept to implementation.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.
• Experience with utilities, instrumentation, and CAD programming is a plus.
