Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Family Advocate to join our team at Children First Inc. The Family Advocate plays a crucial role in integrating parent and family engagement strategies into our program services to support family well-being and enhance children's development and learning. This position involves providing case management, referrals, and support services to families, serving as a liaison between classroom and home environments, and maintaining essential family and child-related records.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate parent and family engagement strategies into program services
  • Provide case management, referrals, and support services to families
  • Promote parents as advocates for their children
  • Foster strong parent communication and involvement
  • Maintain family and child-related records

Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in family/social services or early childhood setting
  • Specialized training in social services, health, or disabilities case management desired
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish preferred
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR required
