Student Radiology Tech Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Student Radiology Tech Assistant to join MUSC's team. In this role, you will assist with imaging exams, perform diagnostic procedures, maintain records, and ensure high-quality services. Effective communication with patients, families, and care providers is essential. This position requires enrollment in an accredited Radiology program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic routine procedures.
• Acquire requisitions and prepare rooms for patients.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Respond to emergencies and codes appropriately.
• Assist technologists in other areas when necessary.
• Operate PAC's system and report equipment issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Enrollment in an active Radiology Technologist program.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
• Strong communication skills.

Transition Opportunities
