Job Description
We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse II to join our Neuroscience Stepdown Unit. As a Registered Nurse II, you will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care while interacting with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-functioning environment focused on delivering safe outcomes to high acuity patients.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective patient care.
- Interact with the healthcare team to achieve desired results.
- Care for adult Stroke, Neurosurgery, & Neurology patients
- Monitor patients closely and ensure accurate documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform various physical job functions.
- Good vision and hearing capabilities.
- Capability to work in stressful situations.
- Flexible scheduling and overtime availability.
