Hospice Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are currently looking for a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Liberty Hospice. As a Full-Time RN in Cumberland County, you will apply nursing theories and concepts to provide state-of-the-art care and pain management services to our hospice patients. Your responsibilities will include coordinating patient care, communicating with patients and families, and actively participating in team meetings and quality reviews.

Job Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice with at least two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in hospice care.
• Knowledge of home health and hospice care programs and the nurse's role in patient care.
• Familiarity with nursing principles, agency policies, and reimbursement guidelines.
• Required 12 hours of continuing education annually and current CPR certification.
• Willingness to travel based on agency needs, and availability for weekend/evening and holiday call assignments.
