Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Roxboro Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, a part of Liberty Healthcare Management. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in assisting with nursing services, monitoring patient conditions, and providing quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel, ensuring proper performance and care delivery.
• Observe patients for symptoms and changes, promptly notifying physicians of any emergencies.
• Implement physician's orders and provide necessary care to patients.
• Perform assigned duties effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school graduation is required.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Valid North Carolina Board of Nursing license with proof of renewal every other year.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies as necessary.
• Ability to deliver quality nursing care, follow medical instructions, and show a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification on a yearly basis.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as necessary.
