Maintenance Technician - Industrial/Production FT

Job Description

We are looking for an Experienced Manufacturing/Production Maintenance Technician to join AVTEC FINISHING, a recognized leader in the Metal Finishing Industry. This is a full-time position with a focus on keeping the shop running smoothly by handling mechanical, electrical, welding, plumbing, and HVAC tasks. The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance tasks.
• Handle basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout protocols.
• Read blueprints and diagrams for assembly.
• Weld using various equipment.

Requirements

• Trade school training or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently and safely.
• Good mechanical aptitude and organizational skills.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
