Physical Therapist

Job Description

Minds Matter, LLC is looking for a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) to join our team dedicated to helping individuals with brain injuries lead independent lives. As an RPT, you will work closely with consumers to develop therapy goals and provide supervision to physical therapy assistants.

Responsibilities

• Implement Minds Matter's holistic care principles in service delivery.
• Assist individuals in identifying needs and developing compensation techniques post-brain injury.
• Conduct evaluations and provide therapies based on medical data and individual care plans.
• Collaborate with consumers and professionals to achieve goals.
• Educate families on brain injury strategies and techniques.
• Stay updated on best practices through training and workshops.
• Maintain professionalism and uphold HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Teaching skills to individuals with disabilities.
• Supervisory experience with therapy assistants.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Basic technology proficiency.

Education and Experience

• Completion of an accredited physical therapy program and current Kansas state license.

Requirements

• Ability to lift for consumers with physical needs.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Basic iPad proficiency and reliable transportation.
