Materials and Process Engineer- Documentation Mgmt

Job Description

We are looking for a Materials and Process Engineer specializing in Documentation Management to join our team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems. As a Materials & Process Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing documentation review, coordination, and management, working closely with various internal functional groups. This role involves managing material and process documentation, supporting engineering reviews, and ensuring documentation compliance within our internal systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials engineering, technical writing, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering specification documentation and internal technical documents.
• Coordinate and lead engineering specification change board meetings.
• Standardize/update documentation templates for specifications and internal technical documents.
• Create engineering change documentation and tracking through completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Execute plans to meet project and departmental goals.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering or related field.
• Technical background in composites or materials-based industries.
• Knowledge of engineering control and configuration management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• US Citizen or permanent green card holder.
