Mental Health Skills Trainer - Supported Employment

Job Description

Marion County is seeking a Mental Health Skills Trainer for Supported Employment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals with severe mental illness find and maintain employment, providing vocational support based on individual preferences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Supported Employment services according to Individual Placement and Supports standards.
• Conduct job coaching, guidance, and coordination including job search planning, job matching, and intervention support.
• Perform employment research, job development, and documentation maintenance.

Requirements

• Three years of relevant work experience in behavioral health or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Must possess a current QMHA certification and meet other special requirements outlined by Marion County.
• Working knowledge of mental health concepts and skills in community resource utilization.
