Job Description

We are looking for a Physical Security Customer and Facility Installation Specialist to join our team at Flexential. In this role, you will be assisting the Physical Security Installation Lead Engineer in overseeing the planning, scheduling, and supervision of installation projects and vendors for physical security systems. Your responsibilities will include sourcing technologies, assets, and labor, as well as implementing, programming, and troubleshooting security systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the configuration and installation of physical security components.
  • Act as the main contact for installation projects and related issues.
  • Manage and supervise security system installations.
  • Ensure accurate procurement of equipment for installations.
  • Prepare reports and documents related to project progress and expenses.
  • Evaluate system performance and maintain equipment functionality.
  • Stay updated on current standards and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders for project coordination and management.
  • Provide support for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading physical security systems.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of supervisory experience in vendor management and project supervision.
  • Experience with low voltage systems and security technologies.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and site plans.
  • Strong knowledge of networking and security system components.
  • Ability to manage maintenance schedules and troubleshoot issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASIS Certification.
  • Experience in programming and maintaining security systems.
  • Knowledge of network design and software applications.
  • Proficiency with relevant security software and hardware.
  • Familiarity with ticket management systems and IT certifications.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing or walking for 25% of the time.
  • Moderate keyboard usage and limited travel requirements.

Salary

Base pay range: $86,000 - $96,000 annually, with variable pay based on personal and company performance.
