Project Manager- Environmental (Norfolk, VA)

Job Description

HEPACO Inc, a leading environmental and emergency services company, is expanding its team in Norfolk, VA, and is looking for an experienced Environmental Services / ER Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and successfully completing projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in project bidding, contracting, and business development activities, collaborating closely with the Territory Account Manager and Branch Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform project management duties including planning, quality control, health & safety oversight, and resource management.
• Participate in project bidding/quoting, ensure contract accuracy, and meet client expectations.
• Collaborate with the team in business development and adhere to company policies.
• Mentor and lead team members, provide project cost reporting and financial data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5 years of relevant experience in project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and prior experience with Hyland OnBase a plus.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and certifications.
