Senior OnBase Developer

Job Description

Princeton University is looking for a talented Senior OnBase Developer to join their central IT team. The Senior OnBase Developer will be responsible for supporting, developing, and integrating solutions on the OnBase by Hyland enterprise platform. Working independently and collaboratively with the OnBase team, the role involves developing, testing, debugging, migrating, maintaining, documenting, and supporting solutions for campus users. Additionally, the developer will provide first-level application support by troubleshooting operational issues and implementing fixes, ensuring the continuous usage of OnBase to meet campus needs. This position also assists the OnBase Administrator with administration tasks and validation of new software releases.

This is a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Leverage OnBase API, C#, and/or VBScript to enhance OnBase solutions.
• Develop interfaces between OnBase and other applications using Hyland's Unity toolkit.
• Develop solutions within OnBase using Workflow, WorkView, and Unity Forms.
• Prepare technical requirements and solution designs.
• Maintain and refine existing content management solutions.
• Build reports using Hyland Report Services module or custom SQL scripts.
• Deliver full life-cycle projects from development to production.
• Build and maintain relationships with campus users and OIT partners.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT experience with 3+ years as a developer in enterprise content management software, preferably OnBase.
• Experience working on full lifecycle projects using SDLC methodologies.
• Proficiency in ECM document imaging, management, workflow, and reporting modules.
• Experience with OnBase API, C#, and VBScript within an ECM solution design.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with OnBase by Hyland.
• Experience with enterprise content management administration tools.
• OnBase certifications and familiarity with related software.
• Knowledge of Service Now, SharePoint, and Microsoft Visio.
• Experience in higher education is a plus.
