Job Description
Join our team as an Assistant Retail Supervisor at Aldi, where you will play a key role in store management by overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational plans. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will identify training opportunities to nurture team growth.

- Starting Wage: $25.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the direct leader to enhance operating results
- Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to the team
- Identify training needs to improve team performance
- Understand company strategy and foster teamwork
- Monitor the competitive landscape and propose necessary adjustments
- Provide product feedback and recommendations
- Participate in the store personnel interviewing process
- Ensure adherence to inventory, product handling, and cash control policies
- Resolve operational issues and maintain store cleanliness
- Supervise team operations, escalating issues when needed
Job Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Effective teamwork and customer service skills
- Ability to lead and develop direct reports
- Interpret and apply company policies
- Evaluate performance and drive results
- Operate a cash register and store equipment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years retail experience
- Prior management experience preferred
