Job Description
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's success.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Capability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and local regulations.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is desirable.
- A suitable combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
