Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. This is a full-time position based in Brooklyn, NY. As part of our expansion, we are looking for individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional transportation and logistics services to our customers.

General Description of Duties

• Responsible for pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Perform loading and unloading of trailers using standard techniques and technology.
• Duties and schedules may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
• Must possess a Class-A CDL with relevant endorsements.
• Stable work record and safe driving history.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and medical requirements.

Pay Range: $27.23 to $30.26 per hour (overtime paid after 8 hours for full-time employees)
