Sterile Processing Tech

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. In this full-time evening shift position, you will play a crucial role in the decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and patient care equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and actively contribute to quality and process improvement initiatives.
• Document sterilization processes accurately and report any irregularities.
• Participate in receiving and reprocessing activities for loaner and consignment sets.
• Act as a preceptor to new staff or provide training to OR staff transitioning to Sterile Processing.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: CRCST, CSPDT, or CST certificate.
