Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned Business Technology (BT) Issues, identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and collaborating with various teams for issue resolution. Your role involves actively managing and escalating risks and customer-impacting issues, ensuring timely resolutions. Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle and coordinate actions to resolve issues.
  • Challenge root cause analysis, coordinate solutions, and implement preventative measures.
  • Maintain issue inventory and progress in ServiceNow.
  • Identify and propose process improvements.
  • Mentor Service Support Specialists.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, or Statistics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • 1+ years of people management experience.

Compensation

The base pay ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00 with additional incentives based on various factors. Apply now to be considered for a competitive total compensation package.
