Job Description

Discover Financial Services is looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join their Business Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned BT Issues, identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and documenting actions taken to resolve problems. Collaboration with various teams is crucial to ensure efficient resolution and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle and coordinate actions to resolve assigned issues.
  • Ensure service level agreements are met and blockers are resolved promptly.
  • Maintain detailed problem inventories and progress in ServiceNow.
  • Identify and propose process improvements along with mentorship responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, or Statistics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • 1+ years of people management experience.

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $75,500 to $127,900, supplemented by market competitive incentives based on various factors.
