Maintenance Technician

Join our team at Freeman Webb Company as a Maintenance Technician responsible for the overall maintenance of the physical plant under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. This role involves a wide range of essential duties and responsibilities, including electrical repairs, plumbing work, carpentry tasks, painting, and grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate will have prior maintenance experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all types of maintenance projects.
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Replace broken fixtures, appliances, and fittings.
• Painting of interior and exterior surfaces.
• Perform carpentry tasks such as fitting doors, replacing windows, and building shelves.
• Assist in custodial work, including cleaning common areas.
• Participate in grounds work and policing as needed.
• Train other staff members on maintenance tasks.
• Assist in emergency coverage and scheduled maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior maintenance experience or related field.
• Ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.
• Basic understanding of math and ability to read instructions and manuals.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
