Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring their culinary expertise and dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences in our fine dining restaurants and nursing venues. Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.

Compensation

Commensurate with Experience, starting at $65,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily kitchen production and food preparation for timely resident meals.
  • Ensure accuracy in preparing and serving forecasted menu items.
  • Supervise culinary and utility staff, handle scheduling, training, and discipline.
  • Oversee organization and sanitation of dining rooms, kitchen, and storage areas.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years full-service experience.
  • At least 6 months of supervisory and coaching experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, culinary program graduate a plus.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
