Job Description
We are looking for a 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our dedicated team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. Our warehouse associates work fewer than 30 hours per week, in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
- Participate in inventory counts and interact effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
- Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate Aldi Acts competencies: conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
- Work in varying temperatures and environments.
