Responsibilities
- Evaluate project proposals, blueprints, and construction documents.
- Estimate labor, materials, and product costs for construction projects.
- Produce detailed proposals, cost estimates, and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to provide accurate project information.
- Solicit and assess subcontractor, vendor, and supplier pricing.
- Review change orders and assess cost impacts.
Requirements
- 2 years of estimating experience or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of construction practices and procedures.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on a computer.
