Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Psychiatric Nursing team at FirstHealth Regional Hospital. This 28-bed unit provides specialized care to patients with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses, where nurses play a vital role in delivering exceptional mental health care services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Work with families, groups, and the community to support patients through recovery.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Ensure compliance with all medical and legal regulations.
Requirements
- Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License.
- 1 year of Med/Surg or Behavioral Services experience is preferred.
- BCLS certification is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five (5) years of employment start date.
