FSQR Quality Pre-Sorter

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented FSQR Quality Pre-Sorter to join the Cargill team in Wyalusing, PA. This hourly full-time position involves ensuring compliance with USDA-FSIS standards and maintaining plant operations at the highest regulatory levels. As a crucial member of the protein and salt business, you will play a key role in providing top-quality food products to our diverse customer base.

Principal Accountabilities

• Initiate as a TS Tech I and progress to a TS Tech III level after training.
• Interact closely with USDA-FSIS Inspectors ensuring plant compliance.
• Act as a liaison between USDA-FSIS and plant operations.
• Perform incisions as necessary for USDA-FSIS inspection.
• Adapt to different areas of the harvest floor as required.
• Be proficient in all tasks before USDA-FSIS inspection.

Required Qualifications

• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills and physical capabilities for the role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in beef processing and knife skills.
• Bilingual proficiency (English, Spanish).
• Knowledge of USDA-FSIS standards and food safety practices.
