Job Description
As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and ensuring a top-notch shopping experience. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold company standards.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
- Proficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Ability to follow company policies and maintain cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking capabilities
- Compliance with alcohol handling requirements
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience is advantageous
- Combination of education and relevant work experience considered
