Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange merchandise
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company policies and procedures for security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register
- Safely operate equipment and maintain cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
