Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with a great shopping experience. Collaboration with the Aldi team and exceptional customer service will be at the core of your responsibilities.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Aldi's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Participate in inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company policies to maintain data security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe operation of equipment and adherence to cleaning standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
