Position: Help Desk Technician

About the role: As an integral part of the Information Technology Team, the Help Desk Technician provides desk side support for software installations, hardware repairs, and technical issue resolutions. This role also involves assisting with system maintenance, network and server tasks, and supporting IT projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to user hardware, software, and network needs promptly and proactively.
  • Configure and maintain employee system accounts and access.
  • Install, test, and maintain new equipment and software.
  • Track and document service requests through ticketing software.
  • Educate and train employees on computer-related skills.
  • Contribute to network and server maintenance, documentation, and projects.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and seek assistance when needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or relevant experience.
  • 2-3 years of professional IT experience.
  • Working knowledge of PC networks, hardware/software maintenance, and various IT tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work across different locations.
