Hot Die Forging Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Hot Die Forging Technician to join our team at ATI's Irvine, CA location. As a forging technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the forging process of high-performance materials used in jet engine components for the aerospace industry. This position requires collaboration, attention to detail, and a commitment to executing tasks accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal stock for forging, position hot metal stock on hot dies, and extract hot forgings from dies.
• Complete quality assurance and part tracking documentation.
• Prepare thermocouple wiring and operate a forklift following safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform basic math.
• Read, comprehend, and execute written instructions.
• Experience with heavy lifting, forklift operation, and quality assurance.
• Mechanically inclined individuals are preferred.
