Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a per diem basis for night shifts. As an LPN, you will assist in directing nursing services, monitoring patient conditions, and providing quality care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall.
• Delegate duties to professional and non-professional nursing personnel.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, alerting the physician to emergencies.
• Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a valid LPN license.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients with a focus on geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification required.
• Active participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
