Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide quality nursing care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit in compliance with the Nursing Practice Act.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, reporting changes to attending physicians.
• Notify medical staff of emergencies and implement changes in orders as necessary.
• Perform assigned duties to ensure patient care standards are met.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing with proof of renewal.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and provide care during emergencies.
• Ability to deliver quality nursing care to geriatric patients and follow medical instructions.
• Current CPR certification.
• Participation in in-service training and staff meetings as needed.
