Maintenance Technician at Joyce University
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team part-time at our Draper, UT campus. The ideal candidate will be proficient in multiple trades, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively. If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of addressing various maintenance issues, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Handle repair, patching, painting, and finishing tasks to maintain the campus aesthetics.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Inspect facilities regularly for maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members and vendors on projects.
- Tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance.
- Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
