Maintenance Technician (Part-Time)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team on a part-time basis at Joyce University's Draper, UT campus. The ideal candidate will handle various repair, maintenance, and general upkeep tasks to ensure the campus facilities are well-maintained and operational. This role requires proficiency in trades like carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities

• Perform repair and painting tasks to maintain the campus appearance.
• Address equipment, fixture, and appliance repair or replacement needs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Regularly inspect facilities for maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Complete tasks such as furniture assembly, groundskeeping, and snow removal.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors on assigned projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance roles.
• Proficiency in trades like carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Licensing in relevant trades is a plus.
