Manufactured Systems Lead Job Description

We are looking for a Manufactured Systems Assembly Lead to join CMC Rescue Inc. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will oversee the accurate and efficient assembly of life safety systems, ensuring superior quality. You will provide guidance to the assembly team, maintain inventory, coordinate production activities, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to safety policies and practices.
• Lead the manufactured systems assembly area, completing jobs efficiently.
• Train and support assembly team members for optimal productivity.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organization in the assembly area.
• Coordinate workflow and activities of production assembly employees.
• Work towards on-time completion of job orders as per the production schedule.
• Conduct spot-checks and inspections for accuracy of assemblies.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow ISO procedures and participate in audits.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders and documents.
• Experience in supervisory roles and production planning.
• Knowledge of Lean production environments is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of production experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience with MRP systems is a plus.

Essential Functions

The role requires physical activities such as walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds, along with visual acuity.
